End of April Training in England
First Day
I arrived in the afternoon about 2 o Clock in the afternoon at Jon's place. After lunch we went training with Arezzo, Aramis, Isabella and Omi on the Tunley Estate near Bath. It rained in the morning so the fields were wet, most of the birds were in the hedgerows. Nevertheless, all the dogs were able to make points on partrigde and pheasants in the fields.
Second day
The next day we went to the Ammerdown Estate, the wearther was better, with lots of sun. We went out early in the morning. Most of the Birds were on the edges on the field near the hegderows. Later it dried up during the day, so the dogs found partrigde in the fields. Isabella is now really getting on as i know she can be. Her confidence is back and she went on the egde out of control. Omi on the other hand quarters the field nicely and made a stunning point on partrigde. End of her Training Session! The next day we will have a Spring Pointing Test at Catton Hall of the Korthals Griffon Club of England! In the evening Mark came over to come with us the next day.

The day of the Field Trial.
We stood up early in the morning at about 5.30 to go to Catton Hall. In England you come together in the fields in stead of in a Bar, Cafe, Restaurant, Hunting Lodge or Pub. After all the competitors arrived and the judges, Di Arrowsmith took the word and introduced the Judges, Allan Hender and Richard Herbert and explained were we would spend the day in the Fields.
Sanjon Arrezo (Kane) of Jon was the first dog to run, followed by Omi Z Vapenek and as 14th and 15th we had Isabella van Ryckevelde and Sanjon Aramis (Gerrard). Kane started off well, took scent immediately and went up a hedge row and tried to block the running birds. Jon recalled him and let him work the field he made casts over the field and came on point on partridge. Arrezo was then picked up by the judges and was rewarded, while he did not had to finish the remaining 5 minutes of his beat.
Omi ran well quatering the field well and made a point on partrigde. Later on she made another point on partridge. Isabella and Aramis, ran very well but were unlucky with the birds.
The result was Arezzo a Good and Omi an Excellent.

At the end of the Spring Pointing test it was very nice due to the Catering Commity, Colleen, Sheila and Susan thank you very much for the nice day!
